Golden Days Family Workshop

TBD

People do not buy goods and services. They buy relationships, stories, and magic.

Walk away from my indoor and outdoor family workshop with solid skills and techniques to better tap into your own client relationship building, family storytelling, and creative magic.

We all want to tell our clients' stories in beautiful and magical ways, but it's hard to know what you don't know, especially when you feel stuck or are just starting out. And while they say everyone is a photographer these days, it takes an artist to truly be able to document the heartbeat of a family's whole world. Those tender moments where fingers entwine in knots of hairs caught in the breeze. Mom's favorite physical features of her youngest child. That patterned skirt that dad loves to see on his wife, and he can't keep his hands off of her.

It's in those tender moments that will be forgotten one day that we have an opporutnity to serve. We are in the business of preservation, and man do I want to help you help them preserve it all.

In spending the day with me it is my hope to see you walk away with the tools and renewed passion to notice the beauty around you and document just that for your families.

We'll spend the afternoon going over indoor and outdoor lighting, posing flow and fostering natural interaction, session workflow, editing, client management and communication, styling, and so much more. We'll shoot two fully styled family sessions: one in the afternoon in the studio, followed by an evening session outdoors in a beautiful natural location. Rain or shine.

Travel and lodging not included as this is just a one day event, however once you've booked I'll send over my Lake of the Ozarks guide, with nearby lodging recommendations for all budgets, and things to do should you decide to stay and play or bring along the family. Lake of the Ozarks is one of the best family travel destinations in the midwest afterall!

Workshop seats are available on the link below. Dinner and beverages will be provided on site. To ensure an intimate learning environment and adequate time for individuals to photograph model subjects and receive feedback, seats will be limited to 7 individuals.

Total cost of workshop is $1300

Deposit required to book is $500, with remainder due by TBD
